The snap that attaches to the cinch is a spring snap that is all one piece, meaning you do not have to worry about it breaking during a run. 

These are a great tool for a strong horse that pushes on a tie down but doesn't quite need the bare rope. 

*As a reminder, please always use a tie down keeper for your tie down straps, and do not leave them hanging or run behind the breast collar. Leaving them hanging runs the risk of your horse stepping over the strap when they put their head down, as well as the strap becoming lodged to the left or right of the breast collar, creating uneven pressure or rubs. Running the strap behind the breast collar creates too much friction meaning rubs as well as not allowing the tie down to function properly, placing the pulling point at the base of their neck rather than down to the cinch.*
